Standard wiring refers to the motor windings being connected in delta orstar,with the thyristor connected between the powersupply and the motor..Inner delta connection refers to the motor windings beingin a triangle-the thyristors are connected in series with the windings.The main advantage of the innertriangle controlis that the soft starter can be selected at a reduced rating.The current flowing through the soft starterand the motorin the innertriangle connection is 1/1.732 of the line current.The above table uses the margin to select the soft starter,which is selected according to the line current/1.5le.During the selection process,the user can further reduce the rating of the soft starteraccording to the actual situation. |
