RDA5 Series (Pushbutton)

The RDA5 push-button switch (hereinafter referred to as the button) is suitable for industrial control circuits with 50/60 Hz, a rated working voltage of up to 400V, and DC working voltage of up to 230V. It is used to control electromagnetic starters, contactors, relays, and other electrical circuits.

Normal Operating Condition and Installation Condition

1.Ambient Air Temperature :-5℃~40℃,and the average temperature value within 24 hours does not exceed 35°C

2.Aititude:≤2000m

3.Air Humidity:When the maximum temperature is +40°C,the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%.At lower temperatures,a higher relative humidity is allowed.For example, it reaches 90% at 20°C, special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally generated due to temperature changes

4.Pollution Degree: Pollution Degree 3

Marking and ldentification of Terminals

●Terminals are identified with two-digit numbers

-The digit in the units place is the function digit;

-The digit in the tens place is the sequence number.

●Function Digits

Function digits 1 and 2 a reused for breaking contact elements(also known as normally closed contacts),and function digits 3 and 4 are used for making contact elements (also known as normally open contacts).

●Sequence Numbers

Terminals belonging to the same contact element should be marked with the same sequence number.

●Marking of Terminals for illuminated Push-button Switches

The two terminals of the signal lamp should be marked X1 and X2.

Disassembly of Button Head and Switch Base Connecting Plate

RDA5

Insert a small flat head screwdriver or similar object in to the arched space of the connecting plate. Use the lever principle to press down the screwdriver and pull out the button head at the same time.
