On September 12, the 2023 China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit opened in Jinan. Jingjie Zheng, Chairman of China People’s Electrical Appliances Group, led a team to attend the summit.
At the meeting, the list of the top 500 Chinese private enterprises in 2023 was released. China People’s Holding Group was on the list with operating income of 56,955.82 million yuan, ranking 191st, up eight places from last year, achieving “double improvement” in performance and ranking. In the 2023 list of China’s Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises released at the same time, People’s Holdings ranked 129th.
A project signing event was held during the meeting. Lu Xiangxin, deputy general manager of People’s Industry Group, and Zhang Yingjia, assistant to the chairman of People’s Electrical Appliance Group, respectively signed the “Energy Storage System and Smart Grid Equipment Project” and “Transformer Production Project” agreements on behalf of the group. This means that People’s Holdings has taken another solid step towards green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading.
It is understood that this year is the 25th consecutive large-scale private enterprise survey organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. A total of 8,961 enterprises with annual operating income of more than 500 million yuan participated. The ranking of China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises in 2023 is based on the company’s operating income in 2022. The entry threshold for the Top 500 Private Enterprises reached 27.578 billion yuan, an increase of 1.211 billion yuan over the previous year.
