1.Introduction
Vacuum Circuit Breaker(VCB) is a core switching device in medium and high-voltage distribution systems.It realizes circuit making, breaking and protection by virtue of the high insulation and strong arc-extinguishing capability of vacuum.
2.Core Functions
①Protective Function (Core): When electrical faults such as short circuit, overload and overvoltage occur in the circuit, it quickly detects fault signals and the contacts separate instantaneously. Utilizing the vacuum environment, it extinguishes the electric arc rapidly and cuts off the fault current within milliseconds to prevent the expansion of faults.
②Control Function: During normal circuit operation, it can switch the circuit on and off manually or automatically, realizing the start-stop control of medium and high-voltage distribution circuits.

①Power System: Protection of 10kV/35kV distribution lines in substations and distribution stations, as well as switching control of transformers.
